DAVID SHANE GLAZNER

MAMOU - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Saturday, July 21, 2018, for David Shane Glazner, 35, who passed away on July 15, 2018 in Orla, TX. Pastor Caleb Siemon will conduct the funeral services.
Shane Glazner was born on August 7, 1982 to his father J.T. Glazner, Jr., and his mother Theresa Strickland.
Shane is survived by his fiancée, Haley Manuel; father, J.T. Glazner, Jr. and wife, Mary; mother, Theresa Strickland; sons, Rylan Shane Glazner, Jaxson David Glazner, Gabriel Michael Johnson, and Hayden Ray Johnson; brother, Dakota Strickland; sister, Michelle Nicole Howland and husband, Jeremy Edward Howland; and countless relatives and friends.
Shane graduated from West Monroe High where he excelled at football and loved being on the team. He began his working career in law enforcement for the city of Mamou and later for Evangeline Parish. He worked offshore in production for Covenant Testing Technologies. He spent time outdoors, fishing and riding his four-wheeler, and he was passionate about deer hunting. Spending time with his four boys brought him true joy. Shane will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
The family requested that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Mamou on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
The Honorary Pallbearers will be Jimmy Pharis, Clay Rials, Jeremy Howland, Adren Johnson, Kelly Alfred, Shawn Eckhart, and Joey Eckhart.
