VILLE PLATTE- Darrell Thomas, 58, of Ville Platte passed away on October 28, 2018, at his residence.
The wake will be held on Saturday, November 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Disciple Baptist Church and will be followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Lawrence Dick officiating.
Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Whiteville.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Joyce Jack of Ville Platte; his daughters, Keisha Doolittle of Baton Rouge and Francheska Freeman and Latoya Freeman both of Ville Platte; his sons, Darrell Thomas Jr. and Johnathon Thomas both of Ville Platte, Lee Freeman of Mamou, and Sanchez Freeman of Lake Charles; his sisters, Mary Bell Williams of Ville Platte and Patricia Thomas of Houston, Texas; and his brothers, Donald (Donya) Thomas of Baytown, Texas, Ivy Thomas, Farrell Thomas, and Lawrence Williams all of Ville Platte, and Martin (Fritella) Thomas of Carencro.
Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
