VILLE PLATTE – A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. at New Life Assembly of God on Saturday, July 3, 2021, for Caresse G. Fusilier, 72, who passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
At the request of the family, visitation took place at New Life Assembly of God on Saturday, July 3, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m.
Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.
Caresse G. Fusilier was born on June 14, 1949, in Ville Platte, to Joe and Ethelyne Fontenot Guillotte. Caresse was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved her family dearly. She enjoyed crafting, making beautiful flower arrangements, creating Christmas decorations, and making T-Shirts to name a few. She had a knack for home decorating, and she loved to make her home beautiful. Her love and laughter will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Danny Fusilier; daughters, Nicole Marcantel and husband, Russell; Danielle Foret, and Robin Laughlin and husband, Travis; son, Ryan Fusilier and girlfriend, Hailey; nine grandchildren; nine great-granchildren; and sister, Voncille Fontenot.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Joe Guillotte and Ethelyne Fontenot Guillotte.
