VILLE PLATTE- Funeral Services were held at a 1:00 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial for Beverly Fontenot, 72, at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, who passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home of Ville Platte surrounded by her loved ones.
Father Mitch Guidry, Pastor at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, celebrated the mass and conducted the funeral services.
Burial took place in Platin Cemetery.
Her memories will live on through her family. She is survived by her sons, James Keith Fontenot and wife, Belinda and Kenneth Wayne Fontenot and companion Melissa Howington; daughters, Theresa Fontenot and husband, Joseph “Joe” and Linda Merrell and husband, Prentiss; brother, Gene LeBleu and wife, Sadria; grandchildren, Jonathon Fontenot, Bobby Lee, Jr., Kip Fontenot, Chris Fontenot, Rusty Fontenot, Cassey Fontenot, Cody Fontenot, Douglas Fontenot, Wesley Fontenot, Erica Fontenot, and Jordon Scott Fontenot; and 18 great-great grandchildren.
Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, James Mylise Fontenot; parents, Theophile and Gladys Lebleu; and grandson, Michael Scott Fontenot.
The family requested that visitation be observed at Ardoin’s Funeral Home of Ville Platte on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. A rosary was recited by Deacon Gene Lebouef at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Visitation resumed Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
