BATON ROUGE – Stanley “Skip” Bertman, the man who transformed LSU into a national baseball powerhouse, passed away at the age of 88 on Friday.
Bertman arrived at LSU in the summer of 1983 with a vision to make the Tigers into one of the premier baseball programs in the country.
