Councilman Shawn Roy recently held his fourth season of the St. John Summer Recreational Basketball League. It is a free Summer League, and it also has free Skills and Drills Camp two days a week. Councilman Roy wouldlike to thank all of the sponsors who helped keep the league free for the 4th year in a row. Sponsors were Mayor Ryan Williams LeDay, St John Baptist Church, Paul’s Meat Market, DJ Chill Will Unlimited, Owens-Thomas Funeral Home (Ezekiel Thomas, guest speaker) SLB, Cabot, Wrecking Crew Social Club, and A&A Quick Stop.
