Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 632 again this year hosted the parish’s Memorial Day observance, at the Evangeline Parish Courthouse. Many local veterans, members of the community, and public officials were present for the event. Evangeline Parish Clerk of Court Randy Deshotel read each name of the Evangeline Parish residents who were killed in action from the Civil War through the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
