VILLE PLATTE - The life of a Ville Platte High School student was tragically cut short after he was shot and killed on the afternoon of Monday, May 4.
According to a press release from the Ville Platte Police Department, the shooting occurred shortly before 1 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Street and Calcasieu Street in Ville Platte.
