The Ville Platte Fire Department, on Friday, April 24, at approximately 8:38 p.m., was dispatched to 214 S.E. Railroad Ave., for a reported structure fire. Firefighters were on scene in approximately two-and-a-half minutes where smoke and flames were coming from the northeast corner and north wall of the main production building of Kary’s Roux and Pig Stand BBQ Sauce.
