The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
•Douglas Young, 60, Basile, was arrested April 22, 2026, for DWI 3rd offense and two counts of failure to appear for court. Young was released on a $5,000.00 bond.
