The 39th annual KLFY-TV 10 Food for Families FoodNet Drive was held on Tuesday, December 9, at multiple locations around the parish. In Ville Platte, the Civic Center was a drop-off location. In the top photo, volunteers, including Sharlene Znamierowski (left) and Becky Miller (center), sort through the food items. St. Ann’s Catholic Church was the drop-off location in Mamou, where Kay Thompson shared the pantry was nearly empty and it was nice to see it being filled up again for those in need.
