The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Arrested were the following persons:
• Augustus K. Ceaser, 48, Basile, was arrested August 26, 2025, by the Basile Police Department for simple burglary and theft. Ceaser remains incarcerated on a $150,000.00 bond.
