Rotarian Kermit Miller invited local author Madelaine Landry, to address the June 10, meeting of the Ville Platte Rotary Club about her latest book. The self-published book Caro Giovanni (Dear John) is a novel of historical fiction based on her father’s story of serving as a radioman stationed in Northern Italy during World War II.
