Medical professionals from across the community came together on Thursday, May 22, as Healthworks Rehab LLC, in Ville Platte, again hosted the high school athletic physicals for Ville Platte, Mamou, Pine Prairie, and Sacred Heart. Vitals were taken by registered nurses, visions were screened by optometrists, musculoskeletal screenings were done by physical therapists, TMJ screenings were done by dentists, and medical reviews/ screenings were done by physicians for final clearance.
