BERWICK - Twelve runs over the course of three games were not enough for the Pine Prairie baseball team to advance to the quarterfinals of the playoffs.
Pine Prairie dropped Game 1 of the best-of-three series against Berwick 9-4 and forced a deciding third game after a 4-2 win in Game on Friday. Then, on Saturday, Berwick earned the series win with a 9-4 victory.
