Sacred Heart hosted its fourth powerlifting invitational on Saturday, January 11. Twelve girls’ teams participated in the event, and there were nine boys’ teams. Adeline Launey, of Sacred Heart, was named the girls’ best light weight lifter; and Jazmyn Lavalais, of Alexandria Senior High, was the girls’ best heavyweight lifter. In team results, the Lady Trojans took home the title. On the boys’ side, Jasper Anders, of Pineville, was best lightweight lifter; and Daylan Tatum, also of Pineville, was the best heavyweight lifter.
