OPELOUSAS - Gina Bradley Tuttle, chairman of Opelousas General Health System Board of Trustees and OGHS Foundation Board of Directors has announced that five individuals have been selected to be inducted into the Opelousas General Health System Hall of Fame.
Among them will be the late Rita Buller Keller, who worked as a speech pathologist.
The legacy of these individuals exemplifies service and dedication. They will be recognized and honored during the 7th Annual Hall of Fame Gala scheduled for Thursday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m. at Evangeline Downs Event Center in Opelousas.
The other individuals who have been selected as inductees:
• Dr. Donald J. DeBlanc, Family Medicine (posthumous)
• Gary Keller, Former CEO of OGHS
• Joy Poulet, Nurse Anesthetist (posthumous)
• Ann Ruffino, RN, Women’s Services Director
The inductees were selected by a special committee of the OGHS Board of Trustees and OGHS Foundation Board of Directors from nominations received from employees, physicians, and the community.
“Through their dedication and commitment to OGHS, these individuals exemplify our mission of providing high quality care. We are pleased to recognize these significant honorees who have given so much of themselves for the benefit of others,” said Tuttle.
