After his Basile team earned a 26-0 win over Oberlin on Halloween night, Jackson Courville was presented with a T-Shirt in recognition of being the Ville Platte Gazette’s Player of the Week in Week 2. That week he solidified the Bearcats’ win over Mamou with a 1-yard touchdown run. He ran 15 times for a total of 64 yards.
