VILLE PLATTE - A walk-off single from Jack Mayeaux with nobody out in the bottom of the fifth inning lifted the Mamou All Stars to a 26-25 win over Ville Platte in the final game of Dixie Youth District 7 East Sub-District Tournament.
With the win, Mamou ended the tournament being tied with Ville Platte at 3-1. Ville Platte, though, placed first on the tie breaker.
