Rotarian Beau Wilson welcomed Connie Acosta Lamke, founder and CEO of the Acosta Foundation, as the guest speaker for the April 2, meeting of the Ville Platte Rotary Club. Lamke noted the foundation was named after her late father, Rodney Acosta Sr., who was a single father who believed in helping others and taught his children to do the same.
