Registrar of Voters Lucas Buller, would like to announce the close of books for the October 14 election.
The last day to register in person or by mail is September 13, and the last day to register online using the geauxvote.com website is September 23.
If you need to register to vote or make changes to your registration you may do so in person at the Registrar of Voters Office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or online at geauxvote.com.
Early voting for the October 14 election will begin Saturday, September 30, and will end on Saturday, October 7. Early voting will not be conducted on, Sunday, October 1.
Early voting will be conducted at the Registrar’s Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sample ballots may be obtained at the geauxvote.com website.

Races on the ballot include governor; lieutenant governor; secretary of state; attorney general; treasurer; BESE District 8; clerk of court; and police jury in Districts 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, and 8.
The runoff election is set for Saturday, November 18.
