A hearing will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, before front of the honorable Judge Marcus L. Fontenot, in regards to an objection of the candidacy of Todd P. McKellar, who is a candidate for Louisiana House of Representatives District 38.
In the lawsuit filed by Ville Platte attorney Jacob Fusilier, on behalf of the plaintiffs Gwen Fontenot and Renee Brown, the petition alleges McKellar qualified in Rapides Parish using the address of 27 Science Hill Cemetery Road in Glenmora as his domicle.
However, as the petition alleges, McKellar has not been domiciled at the Glenmora address for the full preceding year
