Melissa Clavier, chairman of the La. Swine Festival live entertainment committee and the newest member of the Evangeline Parish Tourist Commission, recently released a preliminary schedule of live bands and DJs for this year’s festival, held annually on the first full weekend in November. The present lineup is as follows:
Friday, Nov. 3
Town Park under the Pig Barn
1 p.m. - 5 p.m. - DJ Skee
6 p.m. - 8 p.m. - Holly O and Jordan
9 p.m. - 12 midnight - Jeremy Lewayne and Born To Boogie Band
Saturday, Nov. 4
Town Park under the Pig Barn
10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Acoustic Jam Session
12 noon - 3:30 p.m. - Perfectly Good Airplane
5 p.m. - 8 p.m. - One Trick Pony
9:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m-. Three Thirty Seven
Sunday, Nov. 5
Stagg Avenue downtown before parade
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - JC Melancon and Bayou Rock Band
Town Park under the Pig Barn
3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Geno Delafose & French Rockin Boogie
The La. Swine Festival Association is presently seeking donors to help fund this year’s event including funding for the line-up of above acts.
