During the March 8 meeting of the Ville Platte City Council, Mayor Jennifer Vidrine announced repair work will begin on 25 streets in the next two or three weeks.
“You’re going to see a mess, but it’s a mess for progress,” she said, adding the city records did not show any other time when the city began work on 25 streets at the same time.
