On the 9 th of September 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriffs Departments Narcotics Unit along with the Criminal Investigations Unit, conducted a search warrant on a residence located 1020 Rev. E D Alfred Street in Ville Platte. Agents had been receiving information about illegal narcotics sales at this residence for some time.
Agents entered the residence and took three people into custody without any incidents. They then located over a pound of synthetic Marijuana, crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy pills and two firearms.
This led to the following arrest.

On the 13 th of September 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Departments Narcotics Unit, conducted a traffic stop on a car on Rixby Manuel Road, for several traffic violations. Agents made contact with the driver and sole occupant.
While speaking to him they noticed narcotics and requested to search the car. This led to the recovery of several illegal narcotics.
This traffic stop then led to a search of a residence located at 413 Derouen Street. Once Agents arrived at the house, they made contact with a male subject who was staying in the outdoor kitchen. Agents interviewed the suspect and obtained permission to search. While searching the outdoor kitchen Agents located more illegal narcotics. This led to the arrest of the following suspects

On the 15 th of September 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriffs Departments Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant on a residence located at 723 South Dupre Street apartment 85, in Ville Platte.
Once agents entered the residence the located a large amount of illegal narcotics. This led to the following arrest.

Also, on the 15 th of September 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriffs Departments Narcotics Unit, conducted a traffic stop on a car obstructing traffic on North Thompson Street. Upon Agents making contact with the driver, narcotics were seen in plain view. There was then a search of the car and the occupants. Upon completion of the search the following person was arrested.

On the 22th of September 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriffs Departments Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant on a residence located at 121 East General Beauregard Street in Ville Platte. The search warrant stems from numerous complaints and surveillance in the area. When agents entered the
residence, they found two people inside. Agents both people into custody without incident. The agents searched the residence found illegal narcotics and arrested the following.

Also, on the 22th of September the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Departments Narcotic Unit, conducted a stop on vehicle in the Tom drive apartment area. When agents made contact with the occupants, they found illegal narcotics and a firearm. The following were arrested.

On the 24 th of September 2021 the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Departments Narcotics Unit received a call concerning a strange package that was delivered to a residence in the Chataignier area. When agents arrived, they found the package had been mailed from Texas to Chataignier. The agents then opened the package and found a total of 22 pounds of Marijuana. Agents retrieved video footage from
the residence and have a active investigation going on at this time.
