Memorial services for Mr. Jacob Neil Savant will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at New Life Assembly of God, Ville Platte. Mr. Savant, 38, of Pine Prairie, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 1, 2021, in Mercy Regional Hospital, Ville Platte.
Pastor Brian Dore will officiate.
Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, is in charge of arrangements.
He was a loving son, brother and uncle. He was a special young man. He loved the Christmas holidays, but he hated receiving clothes. He enjoyed musical toys and watching his favorite Purple Dinosaur “Barney.” He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his parents, Terry and Loraine Savant, of Pine Prairie; two brothers, Gregory Savant, of Vidrine and Derrick Savant, of Pine Prairie; and two nephews, Gregory Ryan Savant and Brandon Savant.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nathan and Mildred Savant; and his maternal grandparents, Harry and Elna Guillory.
