Candidate announcement: Butler announces bid for La. State Rep., District 38

Rhonda Butler announces her candidacy for LA State Representative, District #38.
“My 30 years of experience serving the people of this district as the owner and manager of a number of retail and service businesses and my extensive involvement on public and private boards has prepared me well to represent the people of District #38.”
“As a business owner, mother, and grandmother, I see and understand first-hand the concerns of our families and communities. We are all affected by issues related to the economy, health care, job creation, education, law enforcement, the state and local budgets, taxes, and more.
“If you elect me to serve as your state representative, the relationship building, communication, and negotiation skills I apply as a professional leadership and personal growth trainer, coach, and consultant will be invaluable in fulfilling my legislative responsibilities.
“The compassion I have for people drives me daily to be a better person and leader. You can be assured that I will put your best interest first as I study the issues and work with other legislators to create and amend laws that affect each of us on a daily basis. My greatest responsibility is to serve you. In doing so, I will continue to stand by my Christian values of integrity, strong work ethic, and giving back to the community. I will not compromise your integrity or mine when making the difficult decisions required of your state representative.
“I am the proud wife of a Navy veteran! Frank and I have four children and seven grandchildren. A life-long resident of Turkey Creek, I am the daughter of Samuel and Cheryl Leger.
“You can reach me at any time by phone at 337-655-4477 or by email at rhondabutlercampaign@yahoo.com. I look forward to meeting, visiting, and working with each of you throughout the campaign and during the next four years!
“I respectfully ask for your vote on October 12, 2019 and for your prayers and support throughout this journey. It would be my honor to serve as your next State Representative for District #38. I ask that you let me be your voice for a better tomorrow!”
