VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Mr. Michael Fontenot, 62, were held Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Chapel Church in Belaire Cove, and burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Fontenot, a resident of Ville Platte, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his residence.
He will be deeply missed by his loving family, wife, Peggy Fontenot of Ville Platte; sons, Scott Fontenot and wife, Krystal of Eunice, and Brian Fontenot and wife, McKay of Ville Platte; daughter, Heidi Jeanmard and husband, Jules of Ville Platte; mother, Wedna Fontenot of Belaire Cove; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Andrew Fontenot, and sister, Patricia Fontenot.
Visitation was held Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 3 p.m.-10 p.m., a rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m., and resumed again Friday, October 5, 2018 at 8 a.m.
