The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons: • Dylan Duhon, 27, Ville Platte, was arrested April 5, 2022, by the Ville Platte Police Department for probation violation. Duhon remains incarcerated on no bond.

Ville Platte High School track and field team wish to express our deepest gratitude to Mr. Craig Scott (Class of 1989) and his son Caemon Scott (ULL sprinter) for their steadfast support and generosity. Mr. Scott and his son purchased new track equipment in a time of need.
