Councilwoman Sam is indicted for election offenses

By: TONY MARKS Editor An Evangeline Parish Grand Jury, on Wednesday, February 1, indicted Ville Platte City Councilwoman Christina Sam on one count of election offenses affecting registration and election fraud or forgery.

EPSB looks to “reimagine” Girls-Boys Place

By: TONY MARKS Editor The Ville Platte Girls-Boys Place will soon get a new look after the Evangeline Parish School Board voted to authorize Superintendent Darwan Lazard to negotiate the acquisition of the facility in order to use it as the location for the Evangeline Reimagine Academy.
