VILLE PLATTE, LA – The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office needs the public assistance in locating a missing person.

The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 632 of Ville Platte will have its monthly meeting today, January 5, at 6 p.m. at the Veterans Home. A supper will follow the meeting.

After 20 years serving Evangeline Parish as tax assessor, Dirk Deville leaves the office in the hands of newly-elected assessor Chris Guillory.
