The Mamou Police Department has made several arrests as of Monday, March 1 due to a month long investigation called “Operation March Madness.”

During the March 1 meeting of the Evangeline Parish Police Jury, the jury voted to appoint Cheree Eckhart for Evangeline Parish Communication District #1 board member to replace Durwin Carter.
