During the March 1 meeting of the Evangeline Parish Police Jury, the jury voted to appoint Cheree Eckhart for Evangeline Parish Communication District #1 board member to replace Durwin Carter.
On the March 3 meeting of the Evangeline Parish School Board, the board voted to increase Superintendent Darwan Lazard’s authority to approve purchases above $5,000.
