On Tuesday, April 12, at approximately 4:40 p.m., officers with the Mamou Police Department were dispatched to the area of 500 3rd Street in reference to a drive-by shooting.

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office reported, on Wednesday, April 13, a missing person has been located.
Martin Joseph Boone II, age 53, of Mamou, was reported missing on April 12.
