VPPD searches for three robbery suspects

Ville Platte Chief of Police Neal Lartigue stated Tuesday his deparment is searching for three individuals in connection with an alleged robbery incident in which the victim was transported to the hospital for his injuries.
“The Ville Platte Police Department is looking for three suspects involved in an incident where a man was attacked and robbed on South Soileau Street on June 24,” the chief said in a statement. “The victim was hospitalized with head injuries and was placed in ICU. The victim had since been released from the hospital.”
The chief’s statement continued as follows: “After further investigation arrest warrants were issued for the following:
Isaiah Arvie, 20, whose last known address is 1067 Shorty Lane, Mamou, is wanted for one count of aggravated battery (felony) and one count of second degree robbery (felony).
Jarinsky Jones, 19, whose last known address is 310 Glepi Drive, Lake Charles, is wanted for one count of aggravated battery (felony) and one count of second degree robbery (felony).
Jaylon Thomas, 17, whose last known address is 616 Rozas Street, Ville Platte, is wanted for one count of aggravated battery (felony) and one count of second degree robbery (felony).”
Chief Lartigue has issued a warning that these suspects have been known to carry firearms and should be considered armed and dangerous. Please do not approach any of these suspects. Notify the Ville Platte Police Department immediately by calling 363-1313
