VPPD looks for theft suspect

The Ville Platte Police Department is requesting assistance identifying a woman whom detectives would like to speak with in reference to theft on June 20, 2019, at a local business. These pictures were taken from video surveillance footage where a wallet was stolen from a purse before the purse was turned in to customer service.
