The Ville Platte Police Department reported the following recent arrests. Arrested were the following persons:
• Sheila Fontenot, 49, 7103 Chataignier Rd., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 18, 2021, for theft. Fontenot was released on a $500.00 bond.
• Donald Williams, 36, 208 N. Dupre St., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 20, 2021, for simple assault. Williams was released on a $500.00 bond.
• Michelle Thomas, 27, 704 N. Dupre St., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 21, 2021, for disturbing the peace by fighting and possession of drug paraphernalia. Thomas was released on a $2,700.00.
• Templeton Guillory, 37, 418 E.D. Alfred St., Ville Platte, was arrested on March 21, 2021, for disturbing the peace by fighting. Guillory was released on a $200.00.
