Qualifiers of the rings

Ten riders competed on the afternoon of Sunday, September 13, to see who would crack the list of those participating in the annual running of the Tournoi at the Industrial Park.
Of those riding, Bryan Fontenot finished with the fastest time of 13.09. He also captured a total of 14 rings with a perfect seven in Round 2 and led the pack with a score of 135.45.
In second place was Cody Manuel with a score of 198.15. He snagged eight total rings with a total time of 13.63.
Rookie Nick Miller finished in third place with a score of 211.40 and seven rings collected. He averaged a time of 14.28. Fellow rookie Ben Aguillard came in at the number four slot with a score of 270.80 and one ring. His average time was 14.16.
Rounding out the top 10 were rookie Shane Deville, rookie Brandon Snoke, Garrett Manuel (son of second place finisher Cody Manuel), William Fontenot, Cody Guillory, and Chuck Manuel.
These 10 riders will join last year’s champion Eric Guillory along with Alex Haller, Ryan Haller, Marcus Guillory, John Ross Guillory, Kent Saucier, Shane Lee, Paul Fontenot, and Keith Saucier in this year’s event which will be held Sunday, October 18, at 2 p.m.
