PPPD makes sexual battery arrest

An arrest in connection with an alleged sexual battery on a juvenile was made in Pine Prairie, according to a press release from Chief L.C. Deshotel.
The press release stated as follows: “On August 27, 2019, Pine Prairie Police received a complaint about a possible sexual battery that occurred at 1856 Fourth Street with a juvenile victim. Through investigation, it was discovered that Sky Dauzat had committed sexual battery on the juvenile, and an arrest warrant was issued with a $50,000 bond set by Judge Gary Ortego. On September 5th, Dauzat turned himself into Pine Prairie Police where he was booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail on the charge of Sexual Battery.
