“I’m glad the rain held off,” said Thaddaeus Arvie on Wednesday as he added more paint to his Martin Luther King, Jr. Center mural. Shades of purple highlight the portrait of the civil rights icon. On one level, Thaddaeus has been working on the outward appearance of the building and the park next to it, but on a deeper level, he is working on bringing something special to the community.
