One suspect wanted for burglary

Pine Prairie Police is looking for Breanna Roy of Alexandria after she fled from officers during a high speed pursuit from Lecompte, LA. Ms. Roy fled on foot after coming to a stop at the end of Jewell Lane where she made her way into the Village limits. Ms. Roy then broke into the Pine Prairie Commuity Clinic where several items were taken and she used the clinic as a hideout while Pine Prairie Police, Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Department and Lecompte Police were searching for her. It is believed that Ms. Roy had made contact with another unknown subject and was picked up from the area. When workers arrived at the clinic, it was discovered that it had been broken into and Pine Prairie Police was contacted. Through evidence located, Ms. Roy is the suspect in this matter. Pine Prairie Police is working closely with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office and Lecompte Police to attempt to locate Ms. Roy on our charges and the charges from the pursuit last night. Ms. Roy has an active warrant with Pine Prairie Police for Burglary with a $15,000 bond set by Judge Ortego.
