One suspect is still wanted by VPPD for alleged role in robbery

Chief Neil Lartigue of the Ville Platte Police Department reported Thursday one alleged suspect in a robbery incident is still on the lam and is considered armed and dangerous.
“The Ville Platte Police Department has located and arrested two of the three suspects involved in an incident where a man was attacked and robbed on South Soileau Street on June 24, 2019,” Chief Lartigue said in a statement. “Still wanted is Jarinsky Jones, 19, whose last known address is 310 Glepi Drive, Lake Charles. He is wanted for one count of aggravated battery (felony) and one count of second degree robbery (felony).”
Chief Lartigue is asking for information on the whereabouts of Jones. Notify the Ville Platte Police Department immediately by calling 363-1313.
