Our online magazines through the Flipster app are incredible! This app can be downloaded on cellphones, computers, and laptops. All mobile devices will require your library card number one time. Choose Evangeline as your library then download the magazine of you your choice! There is no limit to the number of magazines that you download, and you can view them for one week at a time then download again if you’d like. Please call your library if you have any questions or visit the Flipster website to learn more about the many options that are available like the ability to print out articles or recipes (https://flipster.ebsco.com).
Tuesday, April 27, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Acadiana Workforce Solutions will host another enrollment opportunity for our youth (16 – 24) such as paid internships and work experience. Bring your ID, birth certificate, and SS card. Representatives will be there to answer questions. Please note that we continue to participate in the COVID 19 Phase 3 protocol of mask wearing and social distancing at main and all branch libraries.
Wednesday, April 28, at 10:30 a.m. the Mystery Book Club will meet to discuss its new book, “Shadow Box” by Luanne Rice. New members are welcome to attend.
Wednesday, April 28, at 4:30 p.m. join the Books & Beyond Teen program for a Mother’s Day Craft session.
Brilliant Butterflies youth program is offering Take & Make crafts for Mother’s Day.

Mamou Branch Library: Coffee and Conversation every Monday and Friday, 8 – 9 a.m.
Pine Prairie Branch Library: Our Coffee Club every Monday-Friday morning from 8-9 a.m.

The main library in Ville Platte is opened again on Tuesday evenings until 8 p.m. to accommodate students and the working public.
