The main library and all branches continue to participate in the COVID-19 Phase 2 mandate that requires wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and keeping the number of patrons limited while in the buildings, therefore, no public programming is being offered at this time. Also, the operating hours at the main library continue to be reduced by closing at 6 p.m. Monday thru Friday (no late Tuesday evenings). Unfortunately, our webpage is not operating properly so the information posted should not be relied on at this time. We are posting all updates on our Facebook page. Additionally, all virtual websites like Libby / Overdrive are available to the public if you have an Internet connection.
The staff extends a sincere thank you to Mr. Gene McMillen for his most unique and generous donation of his rendition of the yacht that belonged to President John F. Kennedy. It is on display in our Genealogy room. Children and teens can view it and outside of the Teen room. We are grateful for the inspiration and proud to tout the talents of Mr. Gene.
