We are hoping that all of our patrons around the parish weathered this most unusual and unique weather event without injury. We appreciate your understanding and patience concerning the library closures. We cannot open to the public without water and while sheets of ice on the ground, so the main library and all branches will remain closed this week but will be opened again on Monday, February 22 at their regular hours.

We extend a very sincere thank you to the recent donation for our “A Cause for Paws” program from Nina David! The dog treats have been delivered and enjoyed by the pound dogs
Thank you to those who recently dropped off donations of used books, magazines, DVD’s, etc. They will be quarantined and disinfected before being put on the Friends of the Library sale shelf. There are so many folks who are homeschooling and kids doing virtual learning that we would like to make items that can be owned and used at home more available at bargain prices! Check out the Friends section the next time you are in your library.
