Evangeline Parish Sheriff Charles R. Guillory released the following regarding the recent recovery of stolen motorcycles in the Point Blue area.
On the Wednesday, February 3, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Department’s Criminal Patrol Unit executed a search warrant on a home located at 4443 L’Anse Bleu Road outside Ville Platte. Deputies located illegal narcotics, firearms, and two stolen motorcycles. This led to the following actions being taken.

She was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of oxycodone, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of firearm in presence of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of stolen property.
Brian Keith Fontenot

W/M Age 39
He was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of oxycodone, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of firearm in presence of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of stolen property, and possession of marijuana. He also had outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court.
Two days later, in a separate incident, the Criminal Patrol Unit, with assistance from detectives, executed a search warrant on a residence located at 2146 Saucier Road in the L’Anse Meg area. Deputies located illegal narcotics along with a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a dirt bike that had the VIN numbers altered and removed in an effort consistent with them possibly being stolen. This resulted in the following action.

He was charged with possession of oxycodone, possession of a firearm by a felon, and vehicle VIN numbers removed-altered.
