A 31-year-old Evangeline Parish man was found dead in the 400 block of Corn Street in Eunice early Christmas morning, Police Chief Randy Fontenot reported.
Police responded to a call about a shooting at 2:45 a.m. and found the man lying in front of a residence.
The man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has not been identified pending notification of family.
