Evangeline Parish – At approximately 2:30 am on April 7, 2019, Troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop I began investigating a single vehicle crash on LA 13 near LA 374 in Evangeline Parish. The crash resulted in the death of 28-year-old Krissii Guillory of Eunice, and the serious injury of 26-year-old Dale Guidry of Eunice.
The initial investigation by State Police revealed that the crash occurred as Guidry was driving a Ford F250 northbound on LA 13. Guidry failed to negotiate a left hand turn and exited the roadway to the right. His vehicle struck a driveway, became airborne for several hundred feet then began to roll over, causing Guillory to be ejected.

Both occupants were unrestrained. Impairment on the part of Guidry is unknown at this time but, toxicology test results are pending. Speed is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
