The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Shawn Mitchell Hebert, 25, Eunice, was arrested on February 24, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for aggravated burglary. Hebert remains incarcerated on a $125,000.00 bond.
• Joseph Guillory, 48, Ville Platte, was arrested on February 25, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of CDS Schedule II, and possession of CDS Schedule IV. Guillory remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Nicholas P. Carter, 33, Eunice, was arrested on February 27, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court, possession of CDS Schedule I, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Carter was released on a $1,000.00 bond.
• John Vincent Phillips, 43, Ville Platte, was arrested on February 26, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for sex offender - failure to notify of address change. Phillips remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Davis Lavine, 55, Ville Platte, was arrested on February 28, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court, Schedule II - prohibited acts, and possession of CDS Schedule I. Lavine was released on no bond.
• Brittany R. Lester, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested on February 27, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS Schedule II and illegal use of CDS in presence of minor. Lester remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Jeremy Scott Whittington, 38, Turkey Creek, was arrested on February 27, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Whittington remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Brandon Macade Haviland, 18, Ville Platte, was arrested on February 27, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for manufacture/distribution of CDS II. Haviland remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Holly Dupre, 43, Ville Platte, was arrested on February 27, 2021, by the Ville Platte Police Department for possession of CDS Schedule II. Dupre was released on a $15,000.00 bond.
• Paul G. Oubre, 47, Cottonport, was arrested on March 1, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS I with intent to distribute, possession of CDS Schedule II, and limitations on passing on the left. Oubre was released on no bond.
• Aaron Wayne Johnston, 26, Ville Platte, was arrested on February 28, 2021, by the Turkey Creek Police Department for failure to appear for court and domestic abuse battery child endangerment law. Johnston remains incarcerated on a $1,500.00 bond.
