The Evangeline Sheriff’s Office Department reported 16 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Tyler J. Lasage, 21, 1969 James Ortego Ln, was arrested on February 1, 2018, for possession of a schedule I with intent, possession of a schedule II, and possession of a drug paraphernilia. Lasage remains incarcerated with a pending bond.
• Tayler B. Lejeune, 26, 1625 N. Green Ave., was arrested on January 31, 2018, for possession of schedule II, distribution of schedule II, and monetary instrument abuse. Lejeune was released with a $66,500.00 bond.
• Michael V. Prima, 36, 2589 Saint Landry Hwy, was arrested on January 27, 2018, for disturbing the peace and possession of a schedule II. Prima remains incarcerated with a $10,000.00 bond.
• Trevor T. Larnett, 23, 930 S. Chataignier, was arrested on January 28, 2018, for 2nd degree attempted murder and disturbing the peace by fighting. Larnett remains incarcerated with a $105,000.00 bond.
• Dustin Dwight Hamous, 33, Rue Julie Blonde, was arrested on January 31, 2018, for possession with intent to distribute schedule II, possession of schedule I/carrying of weapon by a convicted felon, and violation of CDS/illegal carrying of weapons. Hamous remains incarcerated with a $312,000.00 bond.
• Nolan F. Freeman, 38, 806 North Latour Apt 32, was arrested on January 18, 2018, for illegal carrying of weapons/illegal use of weapon, aggravated criminal damage to property, and violation of uniform controlled substance. Freeman remains incarcerated with a $82,000.00 bond.
• Clyde Frank, 62, 410 Hillcrest Ave., was arrested on January 26, 2018, for careless operation, no seat belt, and DWI 2nd offense. Frank remains incarcerated with a $5,000.00 bond.
• John Lee King, 21, Highway 167 North, was arrested on January 30, 2018, for domestic abuse battery. King was released with a $7,500.00 bond.
• DaeQuan F. Antoine, 20, 1102 Tate Cove Rd., was arrested on January 19, 2018, for aggravated assault, and criminal damage to property (3 cts).
• Jawaski M. Captain, 36, 601 6th St., was arrested on January 24, 2018, for aggravated battery, domestic abuse battery, and distribution /manufacture of schedule I CDS. Captain remains incarcerated with a $70,000.00 bond.
• Kyle A. Quin, 29, 2537 St. Landry, was arrested on January 24, 2018, for carnal knowledge of a Juvenile. Quin remains incarcerated with a $35,000.00 bond.
• Jillian Pierrottie, 22, 1106 W. Vine St., was arrested on January 20, 2018, for 1st offense, careless operation, and illegal use of weapon or dangerous weapon. Pierrottie was released with a $85,000.00 bond.
• Luke J. Thomas, 18, 202 Cypress St. Apt 302, was arrested on January 24, 2018, for domestic abuse battery. Thomas was released with a $7,500.00 bond.
• Phillip Smith, 36, 2124 2nd Street, was arrested on January 21, 2018, for criminal trespassing/child desertion, unauthorized entry/improper supervision, and criminal damage to property.
• John Paul Simien, 34, 1018 Glen Oak loop, was arrested on January 23, 2018, for manufacturing or possession w/ intent, illegal carrying of weapons, and violation of CDS in a school zone/illegal carrying of a weapon by a convicted felon. Simien was released with a $110,000.00 bond.
