Drug paraphernalia leads to arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department, on Wednesday, March 10, made two different traffic stops and located narcotics in both cars.
The first stop occurred on Hwy 167 north of Turkey Creek when deputies stopped a car for a traffic violation. The deputy could smell marijuana coming from inside the car and advised of the reason for the stop. The deputy then requested permission to search. While searching the car, deputies located ecstasy and cocaine. This led to following arrest.

He was charged with possession with intent to distribute ecstasy and possession of cocaine.
On the second traffic stop of the night, deputies stopped Kenny Gordan Clark and advised him of the reason for the stop. While he was looking for his information, deputies saw drug paraphernalia in plain sight. They requested permission to search and located synthetic marijuana on Clark’s person.

He was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
Then, on Thursday, March 11, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Department K-9 Unit stopped a car in the Point Blue area for a traffic violation. When the deputy made contact with the driver, he noticed several indicators of possible drug use and/or possession. The driver was advised of the reason for the stop, and the deputy continued to notice signs of awkward behavior from the driver. When the deputy advised he would deploy his K-9, the driver stated he had drugs and told deputies where they were located.
This led to the following.
